5 things about visiting Rome

The Colosseum

I did my bachleorette party in Rome this past summer so despite being super well-planned in advance, things became kind of a blur.

But I do remember these five things:

  1. The Colosseum looks way cooler from the outside than the inside
  2. Go eat at The Corner
  3. You might be more impressed by the Gallery of Maps in the Vatican Museums than the Sistine Chapel
  4. If the weather is good and you feel like some nightlife, head to Hotel Butterfly
  5. If you’re traveling around Italy and your next destination is over an hour away, don’t take a regional train unless you have a lot of snacks (they don’t serve food)

Bonus: Three days in Rome is definitely not enough.
